Product Description
The F.O.G. problem has been resolved and made simple! Home cooks for years have struggled with the problem of how to dispose of grease in the kitchen. Pouring the F.O.G. down the sink drains is not a good option! Prevent costly plumbing and septic repairs by disposing of your grease appropriately. When cooking waste like fat, oil, and grease are poured into the kitchen sink, the F.O.G. (kitchen fat, oils, and grease) congeals and can form blockages in the plumbing and septic systems. Ecologically and responsibly dispose of F.O.G. with The Fat Trapper System by Range Kleen. The U.S.A.-manufactured starter set contains one(1) container and two(2) disposable bags. Fully recyclable with a #5 recycling classification, the "Trap the Grease Fat Trapper" container is made from recycled polypropylene plastic. The two (2) "Trap the Grease Fat Trapper" bags are constructed from polyethylene, aluminum, white Kraft paper, and polypropylene.
The system is simple to use in the kitchen. To dispose of the F.O.G.:
- Remove the canister lid.
- With the bag in the canister, pour cooking grease into the canister.
- Seal the bag and replace the canister lid.
- When the bag's 2.75-cup (22 oz.) capacity is reached, remove it from the canister, seal it, and discard it in the trash-bin.
