TMC 1-Gallon Fermentation/Storage Jar
Measured in fluid ounces, this large one gallon jar provides crystal clear storage for dry goods or liquids and the wide mouth makes filling and pouring much easier. The FDA-compliant 110/400 lid is for general purpose use. It measures 4" in diameter and is 5/8" high, and replacement lids are available separately. The lid is made from polypropylene with an FDA-compliant polyethylene foam liner. Made in the USA and made from up to 40% recycled glass, this jar can withstand extreme temperatures of 0F to 930F and is safe to freeze or for pressure canning. The jar has a slight seam that runs from top to bottom, part of the manufacturing process, not a defect. Both jar and lid are BPA free and lead free, are dishwasher safe and recyclable.
